Alessio Della Valle was born in Florence in 1978. He attended the Los Angeles Film School with a Fulbright scholarship. He has worked as a director for: Sky, Fox, Mtv, Rai, Disney, Unesco. In advertising: Fiat, Bose, Hello Kitty, Hanna Montana, Bose. He directed the opera “La fanciulla del West” by Puccini in Los Angeles. His first work “American Night” had its world premiere at Venice '78, and was distributed in the United States by Lionsgate, in England as a Sky Original and in 26 other countries. Four Oscar winners and two Golden Globe winners worked on American Night, which has been called “an Italian miracle”. The screenplay was requested by the Oscars to be part of the Academy's Permanent Collection. The Golden Globes dedicated several pages to him, Film Threat of Los Angeles called him “absolutely exceptional” and Deadline Hollywood called him “a talented director.”
